Afternoon tea at Cliveden is almost enough to make this Father Christmas turn his back on milk and cookies! It is, I think, as close to perfect as mere mortals can manage. The only afternoon tea I&#8217;ve had that runs it close is at The Library of The Signet in Edinburgh.

I can vouch for the Oakley Court afternoon tea (with wine flight, delish!) as was there at the weekend. We had both traditional and gentleman&#8217;s tea. Beautiful surroundings, excellent service and very accommodating of children which you might not expect. 
I fancy trying out the Rosebourne, gotta love a garden centre!
