<p>Stop what you&#8217;re doing! A brand-new restaurant has officially swung open its doors in Pangbourne and it looks bloomin&#8217; lovely indeed. Taking over the former site of Nino&#8217;s Trattoria, <a href="https://www.no11restaurant.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">No 11 Bistro</a> is a fun new dining experience created by Sean Meston, whose culinary CV spans the Hand in Flowers in Marlow to Reading&#8217;s London Street Brasserie. The vision is simple: locally sourced, high quality ingredients cooked with a ton of love and attention. Expect different weekly set menus, seasonal a la carte offerings, as well as periodic themed nights, so there&#8217;s always something new to sink your chops around. Sean&#8217;s brother James will be behind the bar, so, ermm, hello cocktails! Don&#8217;t miss their Sunday roasts too &#8211; served from 12-6pm with ALL the trimmings.</p>



<p>Heading East, how is <a href="https://www.fairmont-windsorpark.com/restaurant/brasserie/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Windsor Brasserie</a> at Fairmont Windsor Park for a sexy new opening? It&#8217;s now open for business, bringing a seductive mix of opulence, social buzz and elevated dining to Windsor. Wrapped in moody lighting, gorgeous banquette seating, and slick speakeasy-style interiors, the menu champions ingredient-led modern European cooking with plenty of flair. Start at the Raw Bar before moving onto signature grills or the standout crab and lobster pasta which sound, quite honestly, to die for. It definitely won’t stay under-the-radar for long.</p>



<p>In case you missed it, South Ascot is now home to cool kids <a href="https://www.facebook.com/p/Fox-Co-Deli-Coffee-Ascot-61564936710726/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">FOX &amp; CO Deli Coffee</a>, and the food looks banging. Clearly the people agree as having been open just a matter of weeks, they recently got through to our Muddy Award finals. Definitely worth the weekend pit stop. And if you fancy getting your hands dirty, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/thecakecollege/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Cake College</a>, currently based in Reading, is going to be moving to a new location from September, moving into The Flour Barn on the Yattendon Estate. A new kitchen and teaching space will await for a range of hands-on baking courses, from bread to buttercream. Looks gorgeous!</p>

<p>If there was ever any doubt that Adam Smith is one of the UK&#8217;s most exciting culinary talents, this should settle it. <a href="https://www.dorchestercollection.com/ascot/coworth-park/dining/woven-by-adam-smith" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Woven</a>, his acclaimed restaurant at Coworth Park, has once again earned national recognition, climbing into the Top 10 of the <a href="https://www.nationalrestaurantawards.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">National Restaurant Awards&#8217;</a> Top 100 Restaurants, sitting pretty at No. 9. Celebrated for delivering &#8220;hotel fine dining at its unstuffy best&#8221;, the restaurant combines Smith&#8217;s impeccable classical foundations with a more eclectic, creative approach, resulting in a menu that&#8217;s both sophisticated and ridiculously memorable.</p>

<p>Is it just us, or is everyone having a refurb right now? <a href="https://hurleyhouse.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hurley House Hotel</a> restaurant is now undergoing a huge rebranding project, set to reopen later in the year. Hotel guests can still grab sushi and breakfast, plus the Omakase and Afternoon Tea is still available on select days. Both are incredible. Of course, you probably know about the big renovations happening at <a href="https://www.the-vineyard.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Vineyard</a> in Newbury at the moment. It was initially set to reopen in the summer but seems like that&#8217;s now been pushed back to Autumn. Wipes away the tears.</p>



<p>Then, there&#8217;s <a href="https://butcombe.com/the-dundas-arms-berkshire/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Dundas Arms</a> in Kintbury which is currently closed for a snazzy face lift and will be back open for business on Sunday 28 June. Impatient type? You don&#8217;t have to wait to see the results at <a href="https://www.prince-arthur-windsor.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Prince Arthur</a> pub in Windsor which reopened last month with a brand-new (and very nice) look. Definitely worth checking out.</p>

<p>We hate goodbyes, but we&#8217;re sad to say there&#8217;s been a few in the county recently. The lovely indie lifestyle store <a href="https://www.instagram.com/huttons.gifts/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Huttons Gifts</a> on Peascod St in Windsor will be closing at the end of the month after 27 years in business. A huge loss indeed. If you absolutely can&#8217;t go without (puts hand up), their other store on Northcote Road in Battersea will continue to open. And in case you missed it, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/blackbirdcafe/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Blackbird Café</a> in Bucklebury is now officially closed. We wish the team lots of Muddy love.</p>
