<p>Adam Smith has done it. AGAIN. Woven at Coworth Park has officially been named the 15th best restaurant in the UK at the <a href="https://www.nationalrestaurantawards.co.uk/profile/woven-by-adam-smith/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">National Restaurant Awards</a>, described as a &#8220;slick restaurant&#8221; which is &#8220;hotel fine dining at its unstuffy best&#8221;. But that&#8217;s not all. Adam and his team have also swooped The Service Award 2025 for it&#8217;s unparalleled, well, you guessed it, service. Take a bow.</p>

Start in Windsor with the opening of luxury kids boutique <a href="https://newbiestore.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Newbie</a> which stocks an Aladdin’s cave of whimsical prints, cutesy cuts and soft colours for girls and boys aged 0 months to 8 years, plus a chic collection for women too. <p>In case you&#8217;ve been living under a rock, Maidenhead pizza extraordinaires <a href="https://knead.pizza/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Knead</a> are officially taking over the old Leafy Elephant unit on Peach Place in Wokingham with hopes of a mid-June opening date. Get those cheesy slices in my gob now. Meanwhile, up the road in Finchampstead, farm shop Goswell &amp; Birds (part of <a href="https://greyhoundfinchampstead.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Greyhound</a> pub) is officially closing to make way for a brand new all-day space featuring two state-of-the-art&nbsp;digital social darts oches. It&#8217;s sure to hit the mark. Sorry, couldn&#8217;t help it.</p>



<p>There&#8217;s more goss from the Brucan pub family with the official reopening of <a href="https://thewhiteoak.pub/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The White Oak</a> in Cookham following a sexy new refurb. I&#8217;m heading down to ogle the results this weekend. Eyes peeled for the verdict! <a href="https://bowlcentral.co.uk/reading-bowl-central/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bowl Central Reading</a> officially opens its alleys this week complete with bowling, games, arcade, food &amp; cocktails. And finally, bistro café <a href="https://www.instagram.com/hillenskitchen/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hillen&#8217;s Kitchen</a> is officially open for business on Faraday Road in Newbury, run by Michelin trained chef Sammy. Yum.</p>

Meanwhile you might have noticed some very top secret filming happening at Greenham Common for an upcoming Apple TV thriller called <em>Down Cemetery Road</em>. It stars Emma Thompson and Ruth Wilson, so eyes peeled for the Hollywood elite! Finally, who isn&#8217;t talking about <em>Big Brother</em> stars Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa&#8217;s burgeoning romance right now?
