<p>Professional foodies <a href="https://testkitchenfood.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Test Kitchen</a> are brimming with news. Sadly, after three years as the ultimate dream team, at the end of June, their partnership with <a href="https://www.patchwindsor.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Patch on the Plaza</a> in Windsor came to an end. All is not lost though. We&#8217;re buzzing with excitement to learn there&#8217;s plans in the works for them to open their very own foodie spot in the Royal town. We can&#8217;t wait to get our hands on their grub <em>very</em> soon.</p>

<p>Snazzy bakery chain <a href="https://gails.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GAIL&#8217;s</a> is now officially open in Newbury at 1 Mansion House St, and we&#8217;re loving the sunshine yellow vibes and open shelving stacked with fresh loaves. In fact, the interiors take inspiration from Mr Paddington Bear himself with the book&#8217;s beloved author Michael Bond hailing from Newbury itself. In honour of Paddington’s favourite spread, it could only be shades of marmalade. The bakery also plans to share surplus bakes with the community, partnering with The Newbury Community Resource Centre, plus Eight Bells for Mental Health.</p>

The last and latest to fill up the remaining space at Maidenhead&#8217;s Waterside Quarter has been revealed&#8230; it&#8217;s <a href="https://www.prestoitalian.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Presto Italian Street Food</a>. Renowned for their Neapolitan pizzas, expect a selection of delicious Italian street foods, Roman-style pizzas by the slice, and a variety of artisanal desserts and bakery items. Yum. Arriving this September!</p>



<p>Historic <a href="https://www.greeneking.co.uk/pubs/berkshire/three-frogs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Three Frogs</a> pub in Wokingham has officially reopened after a snazzy six-figure refurb. Think pow-wow florals, leafy greens, brass lighting, and more of the same good vibes we know and love. The outdoor garden space is beeeautiful with covered pergola and heating for the colder months.</p>

<p>No excuse not to don your cycling shorts and get the pulse racing. Not one, but TWO new boutique gyms are due to open in Berkshire. The first is <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sweatybumsofficial/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sweaty Bums</a>  which will be located in Windsor. The fitness studio will also have its very own infrared sauna. An opening date is to be announced. </p>



<p>Similarly, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/iconiq.fitness/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Iconique Fitness</a> is coming to Newbury and is set to be a 24/7 indie gym offering free weights, cardio, classes, HYROX, and more. Corr, I&#8217;m sweating just thinking about it. Again, no date yet.</p>

<p>Hot off the presses, mega media giants Amazon Prime will be acquiring <a href="https://www.braystudios.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bray Film Studios</a> &#8211; their first acquisition of a physical studio in the U.K. The site will be used to create new and continuing TV series and feature films, with it recently being used as a production hub for the second season of <em>The Lord of the Rings: The&nbsp;Rings of Power</em>. The first project in the pipeline? The second season of the Russo Brothers’ spy series&nbsp;<em>Citadel</em> starring saucepot Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas &#8211; scheduled to begin filming in Sep. </p>

The team are going all out to celebrate with a full-on journey into&nbsp;Hestonland&nbsp;– a place full of exceptional cooking, extraordinary flavours and excitingly, deliciously different dishes from the gastronomic magician himself.
