<p>We&#8217;ve got a lot of love for Damson Restaurant &#8211; headed by chef Henry Kremer-Ireson. They only opened in September last year but already they&#8217;ve made quite the splash. Expect lowdown luxury in a cosy and intimate setting. The service is Michelin-star standard minus the pretentiousness. But the food is the real star of the show. Damson is a fine-dining foodie destination specialising in seasonally changing tasting menus with expert precision injected into every bite. From 14 -17 Feb the full tasting menu is running and includes a glass of the fantastic local All Angels sparkling wine too.</p>

<p>The Woodspeen quietly twinkles&nbsp;without much fuss. This stylish Scandi vibe restaurant serves seasonal dishes using homegrown or local ingredients (often freshly picked from the garden). The main dining room is surrounded by huge panels of glass, giving a sweeping view of the surrounding countryside right on the doorstep. Plus the open kitchen as the chefs flex their creative muscles provides all the drama you&#8217;ll need on Valentines.</p>

Head chef James Greatorex is a creative culinary star who will wow you with his pretty plates of food if the beautiful, Grade II listed building hasn&#8217;t already.
