The Newbury Show knows how to throw it down when it comes to retail, so you&#8217;ll want to make sure you&#8217;re hitting the countless shopping marquees and outdoor stalls hard. Get ready to flash the plastic. Expect an entire catalogue of independent, artisan traders flogging their wares, from garden essentials to funky prints. It&#8217;s an Etsy explosion of gorgeousness. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-foodie-paradise">FOODIE PARADISE</h2>



<p>My personal highlight of the Newbury Show (for obvious reasons). Bring your appetite because the food and drink stalls are an event on their own. Think sizzling street food from around the world, local artisan producers serving up delectable cheeses, chutneys, and bakes, plus sweet treats that smell so good you’ll be utterly powerless to resist. Whether you’re grazing your way through gourmet burgers, nibbling handmade fudge, or discovering your new favourite cider, the show is basically one giant picnic. Don&#8217;t be surprised to find yourself getting rolled out like a hay bale. Guilty. In addition to the stalls, there will also be live fire cooking demos too.</p>

<p>Possibly not the first place you&#8217;d think of to get the adrenaline pumping but trust me on this. First up, hop into a Land Rover and let someone else do the driving as you’re bounced, tilted, and rolled over obstacles that’ll make your stomach squeal louder than you do. Then it’s eyes wide and jaws dropped as the UK’s stunt kings tear it up in the Bike Battle — part circus, part chaos, all wow. On multiple times a day.</p>



<p>Fancy flying without a pilot’s licence? Slide into the RAF Red Arrows simulator and try not to scream louder than your teen. And just when you’re catching your breath, the Bolddog FMX riders (Honda’s official and the UK’s number one motorcycle display team) blast in with flips and tricks so outrageous you’ll wonder if gravity got the day off.</p>

<p>Where to start? There&#8217;s SO much for little ones to torpedo through. They can whirl around on the vintage funfair rides, giggle their way through the fun house, and enjoy the best views in show on the carousel. Girl Guides will be on site to find the next pint-sized Robin Hoods in the making with soft archery. Add in glitter tattoos, face painting, and more sparkles than you can shake a wand at, and you’ve got the recipe for happy, tired kids (and very smug parents). Bonus points if you manage to tire them out enough for an early bedtime.</p>

<p>The Sheep Show is always a laugh, the dog agility showdown is tails and talent galore, and the livestock barns give you an amuse bouche of country life.
