<p>Quaintly tucked away on a farm, The Courtyard is a lovely little sanctuary that feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But it&#8217;s not just needles you&#8217;ll find kicking around this place. It&#8217;s also home to a hairdresser (Hair by Amy Claire), body contouring, facials, reflexology, nails, Japanese head spa, and other aesthetic treatments too. Literally, you could spend an entire day here just getting pampered. Erm, have I just found nirvana?</p>

<p>The building itself is an old dairy barn but long gone are the days of musty hay bales and mechanical equipment. Now, it&#8217;s been transformed into a fresh, white-drenched, and super calming space with exposed timber and high vaulted ceilings. None of that clinical medical feel here. I&#8217;m a big fan.</p>

<p>So, IV therapy. In case you didn&#8217;t know, it&#8217;s preeetty hot stuff in the wellness world right now and boasts a gaggle of A-list super fans. <p>After arriving, the first thing I did was sit down with Emma for a thorough chat about my health to determine what drip was best for me. Side note: a complete blood analysis is also available for an extra cost to get a more thorough idea of what your body is crying out for. In the end, we settled on the Multi-Vitamin Boost &#8211; hydration, B-complex, and vitamin C, plus magnesium (great for sleep) and zinc (ideal for supporting hair health, which I’ve been struggling with recently). Then, I slung myself back into a comfy chair and let Emma work her magic and attach the drip.</p>



<p>It didn’t hurt at all. Well, Emma has done this once or twice before after all. In total, the infusion took around 30 minutes, during which she continually checked my pulse and made sure I felt comfortable. She couldn&#8217;t have done more to make me feel at ease. And just like that, I was a brand-new vitamin souped up woman. Look out world!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-verdict">THE VERDICT</h2>



<p>The effect of the IV therapy can take about 24 hours to take root, and very quickly I noticed some amazing changes. I&#8217;m not going to lie; I was a bit of an IV therapy skeptic going into the treatment. Because really, what can one little vial really do? Turns out, a lot. Before the infusion, I&#8217;d been massively struggling with my sleep for quite a long time and additionally, the rate that my hair was shedding was ridiculous. A week or so on though, my sleep has improved and I&#8217;m not waking up in the night anywhere near as much. The hair shedding has eased too. My skin feels more hydrated and bouncier too. Overall, I just feel more awake and energised. I totally get the hype.</p>



<p>While I was there, I even spoke to another client who said her results last around three months, so she books in quarterly. I can definitely see myself going back—especially in January after the Christmas chaos has subsided. And okay, yes, it’s a bit of an investment, but for better-regulated sleep, improved wellbeing, and a genuinely safe, supportive environment, it feels absolutely worth it.</p>

<p>Costs for IV infusions range from £105 &#8211; £650.&nbsp;A complete blood analysis which includes full blood count, thyroid function, vitamin screen, liver function, bone health, kidney function, sex hormones, iron profile, cholesterol, inflammation markers and diabetes testing is £450.</p>
