Who needs Provence when you’ve got the gorgeous Stanlake Park? Our 2026 Berkshire Muddy Awards Winners’ Party transported us to the South of France, okay fine, Twyford, for one glorious summer evening with some of the very best lifestyle businesses in the county.

Bathed in golden sunshine and surrounded by rolling vines, our brilliant winners downed tools for a few hours to raise a glass (or three) to their well-deserved success. And what a glass it was. Stanlake Park’s very own sparkling wine was flowing all evening, and let me tell you, it’s waaaaay too easy to drink. Thank god I was hopping on the Lizzy line back to Reading. Delicious.

A generous charcuterie spread awaited overflowing with local cheeses, cured meats, fresh bread and all the trimmings. And that chutney? UNREAL. You can get it at Stanlake Park’s shop apparently. Don’t mind if I do.

Like I said, the fizz was flowing. Obvs.

Then, our 21 lifestyle business winners saw everyone from Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre for Best Family Attraction….

…to Ellie’s Deli (Best Farm Shop/Deli), Delphic Brewing Co. (Best Artisan Food/Drink Producer), MiLK & BEAN (Best Café), and Wild at 5 (Best Florist). Our fabulous Newbury winners!

Then, I stepped up to the imaginary mic to bumble my way through a speech and raise a toast to everyone’s mega achievement, almost getting taken out by the Muddy Stilettos banner in the process. I was convinced I was going to be flattened mid-toast.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Liv Humphery, our photographer extraordinaire who was snapping away all evening. Just look at those photos! Her valiant efforts to save the toppling banner did not go unnoticed either.

Most importantly, it was such a joy to see our incredible Berkshire lifestyle winners together in one place, celebrating everything they’ve achieved this year. Seeing so many brilliant local businesses connecting, catching up and championing one another is exactly what the Muddy Awards are all about.

A huge thank you to everyone at Stanlake Park Wine Estate for being such wonderful hosts and creating such a spectacular setting for our Winners’ Party. It was relaxed, elegant and just the most perfect of evenings.
