Berkshire Muddy Awards Winners Party 2024 — Olivia (Commercial Partnerships Manager) and Ellie (Berkshire Editor)

Nothing like an excuse to get dolled up! Today, it was time for Team Berkshire to pull on their frocks as Olivia and I headed over to The Loch and The Tyne by Adam Handling for the official Berkshire Muddy Awards 2024.

Safe to say The Loch and The Tyne in Old Windsor were the hosts with the most. A stunning venue that pulled out all the stops for a night to remember. With the utterly fabulous Josh heading up the operation, they provided in-house bubbles and THE most delicious canapés.

No exaggeration when I say these cheese balls were to die for, and I’m still dreaming of that beef tartare too. Cannot express how thankful we are to all the staff, from the chefs to front of house, at The Loch and The Tyne for toootally spoiling us.

We had drool-worthy brownies from none other than 2023 Muddy Award winner Epic Brownies. In case you didn’t see, we had somewhat of a love story on our hands at last year’s drinks when Epic met The Loch and The Tyne. The two hit it off and soon after the awards, began collaborating together. It just goes to show, you never know who you’re going to meet at a Muddy shindig. Check out their full story here.

Hopping over to the drinks side of things (the most important, obvs), we had not one but TWO fab Berkshire breweries keeping everyone fuelled up. Our Muddy Award winners for Best Local Food/Drink Producer Windsor & Eton Brewery brought an entire keg-load for the affair. Plus, the cases from the brilliant Renegade Brewery went down a treat. So generous.

Not forgetting the brilliant Emily Reville Photography who was our very own in-house paparazzi and spent the night snapping away all the best moments. Emily specialises in capturing timeless family and children’s portraits that are just gorgeous so check her out, stat.

Once again, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped make the coveted Muddy Award drinks a fabulous night. We have so many beyond excellent small businesses in Berkshire who continue to make us proud every day. This year’s winners were much deserved and hopefully the hard work you put into your businesses year round feels even just a tad worthwhile.

Of course, a big thank you to YOU, the reader, who really got behind the awards this year and helped shine a light onto our much-loved local businesses. We really wouldn’t be able to do this without you.
