<p>It’s official – <a href="https://www.dorchestercollection.com/ascot/coworth-park/whats-on/tide" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TIDE</a> is back with a culinary vengeance at Coworth Park in Ascot. By far, it’s one of the loveliest al fresco summer dining experiences around, a celebration of the season through exceptional produce, outdoor dining and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. It’s open Fri – Sun, with this year’s theme taking inspiration from Britain’s coastline and summer larder. It has a bold focus on fire-led cooking, raw and cured seafood and dishes designed for sharing &#8211; all led by Michelin-starred chef Adam Smith. The menu looks incredible. </p>



<p>But that’s not all. Brand-new for 2026, the flirty five-star bolthole has also launched the Coworth Park Creamery. Clip clop your way to the Rose Lawn Bar for a whimsical ice cream cart that’s bringing nostalgic British summertime charm by the spoonful. Expect a collection of scrummy homemade ice creams and sorbets with refined flavour combinations (naturally, darling) like black truffle with Jersey Gold Milk and salted pumpkin seed praline. Cone or tub? Now that’s the million-dollar question.</p>

You’ll definitely want to block out the diary for Shellfish Saturday at Brucan’s three gorgeous pubs: <a href="https://thegreeneoak.co.uk/menus.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Greene Oak</a> in Windsor, <a href="https://greyhoundfinchampstead.co.uk/menus.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Greyhound Finchampstead</a>, and <a href="https://thewhiteoak.pub/menus.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The White Oak</a> in Cookham. Think giant platters of fresher than fresh shellfish that come with a glass of English sparkling rosé, in partnership with the fabulous Folc English Wines. From rock Oysters to Brixham king scallops, there’s a range of snacks, starters, and mains. But their impressive platters are the real stars of the show. My recommendation? Go for the King’s Platter. It&#8217;s comprised of half lobster, dressed crab, 6 oysters, clams, shell on prawns, Atlantic shrimps, mussels and whelks. And let me tell you, it’s ginormous. <p>Now in its sixth year, few dining experiences get more stylish that this riverside pop-up in Marlow. Be boated over to a secret location before tucking into a five-course spread cooked over, yep, you guessed it, open flame on your table. Grilled beef, griddled figs, and smoked salmon are on the menu, and you&#8217;ll even get s’mores and sparklers to finish. It&#8217;s proper garden party vibes with floral décor, fairy lights, and <em>that</em> view of the river. Magic. On 13 Aug &#8211; 12 Sep. Adults-only or family-friendly lunch sittings are available.</p>

Me? I&#8217;m eying up the Summer Sundays experience &#8211; an hour Champagne cruise with homemade cream éclairs followed by a 7-course tasting menu and overnight stay. Pocket change at just £1,395 per couple. What an experience though!</p>

In case you haven&#8217;t heard, <a href="https://www.rowlesvineyard.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Rowles Vineyard</a> are the newest kids on the Berkshire wine block, having produced their very first bottle of Bacchus wine last year after planting 30,000 grapevines of three varieties back in 2021. The wine is summer dreamy. But their private dining experience among the vines sounds next-level cool. The vineyard uses some brilliant local chefs who specialise in al fresco dining and can create bespoke menus. Naturally, you&#8217;ll be sipping on Rowles wine, as well as refreshing local beers too.
