Part of the Siren Craft Brew family, the Berkshire beer moguls opened their flagship bar and kitchen in Reading city centre in May this year, complete with over 28 lines of beautiful brewery fresh beer. Expect the hoppy stuff from Siren, plus other guest brewers, and fridges stacked to the rafters with takeaway tinnies for the road or train (the station’s a 2 minute stumble away).

Beer not your thing? Enjoy a stonking wine list, a range of handcrafted cocktails, plus tea, coffee, softies, and their very own Sparkling Hopwater. All that drinking is thirsty work, so make sure you get your fill with their fab menu of street food small plates, burgers, loaded fries, salads, and puds. You won’t want to miss their cracking Sunday Roasts either – roast sirloin, slow cooked pork belly, chicken, or wild mushroom and chestnut wellington with all the trimmings. For little ones, there’s a kids menu and they are dog-friendly too.
