Party in the shires
Countryfile Live is back at Blenheim Palace next month, and this year it's throwing a special summer party. If you want to join John Craven in the mosh pit, read on.

Come on you crazy cats, let’s go wild in the countryside!
Yes indeedy, it’s the return of Countryfile Live from Thurs 2 – Sun 5 Aug, with Blenheim Palace once again the stunning venue after last year’s massively popular inaugural event. Muddy Stilettos loves a hay bale and check shirt as much as the next girl (particularly if the checked shirt is proffering a glass of cold bubbly stuff her way) and this year the event is bigger and bolder, not least because for there’s a special, separate Countryfile Live Summer Party to go to.
Party, you say? You read it right, sister. On Sat 4 Aug, from a very civilised 6pm – 9pm, country superduo The Shires will headline the event, supported by Newton Faulkner andFerris & Sylvester, named Top 10 New Country Artists To Watch in 2017 by Rolling Stone. The presenters will be there too – watch out for John Craven in the mosh pit, he’s a total sweat bucket – and given the emphasis on animal wellbeing and provenance the food stalls will no doubt be incredible.

The Shires
Like the rest of CountryFile live, it’s a very family-friendly, relaxed event so dogs are welcome and so are picnics. If this sounds like it has your name written all over it, you can either book this event solo (it’s £38 for adults and under 16s go free), or you can get a £13 discount – lucky for some! – if you’re a BBC Countryfile live ticket holder.
