All popping up at various spellbinding venues around Windsor.

Kite Festival, Norden Farm, 1 Sep

Mary Poppins eat your heart out – Norden Farm is hosting a Kite Festival at Boyn Grove Park for the frequent (or not so frequent) flyers out there. Take the kids and take to the skies for a day of kite-flying fun. There will be food vendors, live music, and the option to buy a kite decorating kit on the day too. Don’t forget the picnic blanket!

To mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, a display in the house at Basildon Park explores the significant connection between the estate and the Second World War. It’s fascinating stuff. In fact, during World War II, Basildon Park was requisitioned and used by the 101st Airborne Division of the American Army for D-Day training. Free with normal admission prices.
