Formerly a Loch Fyne fish restaurant, the Crafted Pubs group took over the building on the Wokingham fringes back in 2022 and spent a bomb renovating the 100-year-old property. Well, it certainly paid off. Now at The Foundry Bell, you will find tastefully decorated and deliciously modern interiors with cozy nooks, and a whole variety of seating types such as benches and intimate booths. The main restaurant retains it’s cozy, comforting charm while also making for a sophisticated space – perfect for parties or special celebrations.

It’s a hotspot for every crowd and occasion, and since the buzzy bar and restaurant opened in December 2022, it’s been a hit with the locals while also pulling punters from far and wide. With LEGOLAND just 9 miles down the road too, it’s the ideal location for a bit of nosh when the kids (and parents) have had quite enough of brick building for one day.

Social eating is at the heart of its conceptual menu. Think Mediterranean-inspired small plates and multiple forks as you tuck into an array of different flavours and dishes. The carefully curated menu is certainly not short of choice if sharing isn’t your bag too. With everything from grass-fed and aged steaks and seasonal salads to artisan pizzas and pub classics like pies and burgers, the selection has been designed with a range of guests and dining experiences in mind.

Another big draw is the partially-covered outdoor terrace (hello spritz in the sun) complete with pergola seating, roaring log burners, and cosy throws to enjoy a tipple or two in the fresh air as cooler nights draw in. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the extensive drinks menu, including 95 bottles of wines, and stacks of beers on tap. Oh, and the cocktails are lipsmackingly delicious – we promise.
