Forget jetting off to Bordeaux, Berkshire is home to one of England’s oldest and most stunning vineyards that’s about as close to a European soiree as it gets without hopping on a jet. Located in bucolic countryside, just outside Twyford, Stanlake Park Wine Estate first began producing wine on their 130-acre estate back in 1979, from sparkling and rosé to Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc-style Bacchus.

Now, they take their award-winning nectar just as seriously as their weddings. Across the estate you’ll find fairytale pretty spaces to celebrate your big day, from the grade-II listed, 18th century Coach House, with seating for up to 100, to the Vineyard Barn which can host 150 guests for the wedding breakfast. The Vineyard Lawn is another area that can be used for the ceremony or drinks should you wish, with unbeatable views across the vines.

Honestly, the whole estate is ridiculously idyllic. There are more than 10,000 established vines to strut your way around, plus a secret garden that comes alive throughout the seasons. Think apple blossom archways, wisteria clad walls, and an abundance of colour.

For food, it’s bespoke, baby, with an array of menus courtesy of a Michelin-trained executive chef and his squad from Fingers & Forks. Bangers and mash or fine dining – the choice is yours. Naturally, the bar is well stocked, including some of Stanlake Park’s 17 award-winning wines.

The venue is available for exclusive hire, including glamourous use of The Bow Loft on the morning of your wedding to get dolled up with the girls. Additionally, there’s two onsite luxury vineyard lodges to rest your head once all that dancing leaves you beat.
