Seasonality, Maidenhead

A cosy neighbourhood restaurant where ingredient-led dishes are put on a pedestal and the cooking is in a class of its own.

A gem in Maidenhead’s glittering crown, despite only opening in 2022, Seasonality has already made tidal waves, firmly establishing itself as a heavyweight on the local foodie scene. Sitting proudly on the Michelin Guide, the place started out as a shop selling delicious dine-at-home boxes – a lifeline for locals during lockdown. However, after slowing introducing supper nights, since then, chef-owner Wesley and his wife Francesca have thrown caution to the wind, creating a warm, intimate, and wholly unpretentious independent restaurant where the food does all the talking.

The menu is ingredient-led and flavour is king. Expect a rainbow assortment of innovative and delicate dishes that appeal to the imagination and are dressed to thrill. The gamut of awards and accolades they’ve received in just a few years speak for themselves so it’s little wonder legions of gourmands travel far and wide to get their chops around the magic.

Underpinned by the breezy décor, the emphasis here is on a laid-back, home-from-home dining experience. You’ll want to make sure to cop yourself the best seat in the house – up the counter where you can watch Wesley and his crack team of chefs don the whites and whip up a frenzy. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner four days a week, while also offering exclusive tasting dinners on the last Friday and Saturday of each month.

Don’t fancy going out? Grab one of Seasonality’s legendary dine at home boxes instead. Three courses for just £32 and worth every penny.
