Padel Maidenhead

Take a swing at padel – the trendy racket sport with a gaggle of celeb fans, now available at Berkshire’s swankiest new padel hub.

Hey, hot shot! Padel is the buzzword on everyone’s lips. Don’t believe me? Vogue calls it, “the addictive racket sport set to be your next fitness obsession”, Stormzy is a fan (in fact, he’s actually played in Berkshire), plus The Prince and Princess of Wales, Andy Murray, and Serena Williams have all taken a swing at it too. Safe to say it’s taken the sporting world by storm, loved for its calorie-busting health benefits and the fact it’s actually, well, pretty darn fun.

Now, you can get in on the action at Maidenhead’s newest Padel club which opened this summer. On site you’ll find 8 state-of-the-art outdoor courts, 1 indoor court, social areas, café, bar, shop, and changing rooms.

The courts are pretty special – made from high-performance, well-draining surfacing which provides optimal match conditions. Plus, the LED lighting means gameplay doesn’t have to stop once the sun sets. Even better, the courts are adapted for disability access, and there are changing room facilities for those with additional needs.

As for memberships, choose from four different options – ranging from £40 a month to £219 a month with varying benefits that include how many times you can book a court, opening hours, and class discounts. If you want to play as you go, just pay up £50 for a court for the hour. There’s a range of classes, sessions, and socials to get stuck into as well such as coffee and play, cardio padel, ladies night, and a kids and teens club. Want to level up your game? Coaches are on hand to help you do just that and rackets are available to hire on site.

Once you’ve worked up a sweat, kick back in the Deuce Bar – a lively community hub for post-match refreshments, open to both visitors and members. Free parking is always a winner, winner too.
