For your mini Muddys who perhaps need just a gentle nudge in the right direction when finding their mojo, Life 101’s fantastic courses, intended to help children thrive and develop important life skills, are paramount.

Run by dream team duo Greig Trout and Jaime Thurston, there are three workshops to choose from: Resilience, Confidence and Leadership, and Wellbeing. They take place at various schools around Berkshire over two days where kids will engage with serious topics in a fun, accessible, and engaging way.

It’s all about equipping children with the skills and tools they need to tackle life head on, whether that’s through practical activities, challenges, or learning. It’s incredible stuff, and the testimonials from parents and kids who’ve taken part say it all.

After completion, children leave with a newfound sense of confidence, identity, emotional intelligence, and sense of wellbeing. You’d think it’s something money can’t buy, but with these life-changing workshops, really, it is.

There’s no exaggeration when I say Greig and Jaime are one hell of an inspirational pair. Greig is a former Crime Scene Investigator with the Met Police and after surviving cancer, set up the website and initiative 101 Things To Do When You Survive, earning him a Point of Light Award from the UK Prime Minister. Jaime on the other hand is a bestselling author and founder of the 52 Lives kindness charity. Due to her work she was included in the King’s Birthday Honours List in June 2023, receiving a British Empire Medal for services to charity.
