Based in Caversham near Reading, the specialist private clinic offers a raft of non-invasive, medi-led, and highly advanced treatments in everything from anti-aging, targeted laser treatments, skin peels, injectables, Cooltech Cryolipolysis Fat Freezing and Body Ballancer therapy. They are bespoke, tailored, and the kind of in vogue treatments skinfluencers would give their right arm to get a manicured paw on. </p>



<p>But it&#8217;s Hilton&#8217;s team of professional and seasoned skin genies who make the magic happen. Book easy knowing you&#8217;re in safe hands that really know what they are doing, with all the latest, top skin tech at their disposal. The clinic is easy to find, and although there&#8217;s no dedicated customer parking, find on-street spaces and a car park nearby.</p>

<p>Step through the light-flooded front door and be greeted with an ensemble of smiley faces. You&#8217;re instantly made to feel welcome by the lovely team and with the calming spatter of foliage and greenery adorning the space, it was easy to let the day&#8217;s tension ebb away. In the waiting room there&#8217;s stylish, gold-embossed chairs to kick back on while you fill out your forms, and the frosted glass frontage gives you all the privacy you&#8217;d want. Inside, the treatment rooms are simple and clinical but still appealing, spread across three different levels so get ready for a teeny hike to the top.</p>

<p>The gorgeous Mia was taking care of me during my treatment, who I must add, had the most beautiful skin (always a good sign, right?) We began with a full consultation, going over my usual skincare routine, the products I use, and my medical history. Then, I was placed in front of a fancy scanner that looked like something out of <em>Star Trek</em>. It was in fact their VISIA Skin and Complexion Analysis machine which swiftly captures HD photographs and analyses in great detail the condition of your skin for everything including pores, skin tone, wrinkles, porphyrins (bacteria), brown spots, redness, and UV damage.</p>



<p>Not gonna lie, I was a bit obsessed with this part. I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve ever had such a detailed analysis of my skin and it was super enlightening to learn how healthy my face really was. But be warned, for better or for worse, you will be told your skin age. It turns out mine was five years younger than I actually am. Winningggg. Not that I&#8217;ve since gone and told just about everyone I know or anything. Overall, I can&#8217;t recommend the consultation enough &#8211; it&#8217;s quick, painless, and totally free when getting a treatment too. And if you&#8217;re going for a Hydrafacial, it&#8217;s a requirement.</p>

<p>From here, I was talked through my results and we discussed what treatment plan would be most suitable. <p>The treatment is essentially a one-stop shop to get the best skin of your life, using super advanced technology to deeply cleanse and deliver botanical goodies, antioxidants, and nutrients straight to your skin. It works ten times harder than your typical facial, detoxifying the skin, removing dead skin cells, and softening pore blockages through a chemical peel. An LED light is also used to rebuild collagen levels, stimulate skin regeneration, calm redness and kill acne bacteria. Did someone say skin savior?</p>

<p>As much as I&#8217;d love to say I have skin like Paris Hilton (another Hydra mega-fan), I don&#8217;t, but that&#8217;s fine because the treatment is tailored and specific to every individual and their needs. For this reason Hilton Skin offer five different variants of the facial to tackle acne, anti-aging, rosacea, and more.</p>



<p>The Hydrafacial is not your typical deep relaxation facial. It&#8217;s there to do a job, so just sit back and let the magic begin. The treatment consists of a six-stage process, kicking off with a cleanse and a peel. I really enjoyed the feeling of knowing my face was getting a real good revamp, and although the peel was tingly (that&#8217;s how you know it&#8217;s really working), at no point was anything painful.</p>

<p>Next up came the real star of the show &#8211; the Hydrafacial extraction using advanced vortex technology contained within the tip of the device. It felt quite abrasive as it exfoliated and extracted my skin to remove dead skin cells, dirt and debris, but it certainly didn&#8217;t hurt. Meanwhile, as it exfoliated, it simultaneously infused targeted serums into the deep layers of my skin. Magic. </p>



<p>Afterwards, I was placed under a warm LED light with a covering over my eyes to really drive home the skin benefits. It was that little extra boost that worked like a dream, and by far the most relaxing part of the treatment. Hand me an Aperol Spritz and I&#8217;d practically be kicking back in the French Riviera. </p>



<p>Overall, the Hydrafacial is a real pop in at lunchtime kinda treatment, taking around 45 to 60 minutes so perfect if you&#8217;re stretched for time but somehow need to fit in a little TLC. It is quite intense and afterwards your face will feel like it&#8217;s done an Ironman, so no retinols for five days and no exercising for 24 hours (devastating).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-verdict">THE VERDICT</h2>



<p>I woke up the next day and honestly did a double take. My skin could have quite frankly given Blackpool Illuminations a run for its money. Glow-ingggg. I felt plumped up, that my panda eyes had been driven to extinction, and like the pampered princess I aspire to be 24/7, so it certainly worked hard enough to entice me back for another visit (once a month for six months is recommended). If you&#8217;re into holistic beauty and don&#8217;t like the idea of pumping botox into your face, this is a corker of an alternative. </p>
