<p>Where to start with the amazing Helen Glover (above right)? Well, she made Team GB history in 2020 when she became the first of our rowers to compete in an Olympic Games after having children. She’s also a two-time Olympic champion, triple World and European gold medal winner. With her rowing partner Helen Stanning, she competed in the women’s coxless pairs and smashed Olympic, World Cup and European records too. And did we mention she’s also mum to three kids under the age of four? Superwoman!</p>

<p>One of the world’s most famous faces is a Berkshire resident and an inspirational woman to boot! The Princess of Wales, a mother of three and our future Queen, is devoted to <a href="https://centreforearlychildhood.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">supporting children during their earliest years</a>, when brains are developing at their fastest. It’s been proven that what we experience from birth to age 5 shapes our lives forever making these years crucial. Kate’s dreaming big &#8211; she wants to build a happier, healthier, more nurturing world for generations to come.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Charity: Lady Rachel Waller, mental health campaigner</h2>

<p>You may not know her name but Lady Rachel Waller has helped thousands of young people since she lost her 28 year old son Charlie to suicide in 1997. Turning personal tragedy into a force for good, she’s worked tirelessly to improve young people’s understanding of their mental health. <a href="https://charliewaller.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Charlie Waller Trust,</a> founded with her husband, delivered more than 320 mental health sessions to more than 20,000 people in 2022 and more than 126,000 people visited the Trust website last year. Although now officially retired, Rachel remains involved and what she’s achieved is truly remarkable &#8211; she was awarded an OBE in January 2022 in recognition of her efforts.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Food: Romilla Arber’s Honest eats</h2>

<p>Gastro green queen Romilla Arber, founder of the <a href="https://honestygroup.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Honesty Group</a> &#8211; a collection of cafés and pubs, plus a cookery school and bakery &#8211; is passionate about good food and sustainability. When she founded The Honesty Group in 2014, she wanted to be straightforward about how her food is produced, what’s in it and where it comes from in a reaction to the seemingly fresh bread provided by supermarket chains. Today, the group operates a zero waste policy and uses electric vehicles for deliveries. All bread is baked from scratch and continues to fly off the shelves, so it seems her customers appreciate the value of paying a little bit more for something a whole lot better. Almost a decade on and the group is thriving thanks to Romilla’s unswerving principles and the food’s delicious too!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fashion: Virginia Chadwyck-Healey promoting sustainable shopping</h2>

<p>Virginia Chadwyck-Healey, known as Ginnie, spent 12 years at <em>British Vogue </em>before setting up <a href="https://www.vchstyle.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">VCH Style</a> to help brands enhance customer experience. She’ll host special events, create video content or put together team training days for sales but her passion lies in understanding how our purchasing power impacts our planet. She says, “We have to learn to shop better. We have to ask more questions. We have to embrace the need for less. But less doesn&#8217;t mean sacrificing style” (you’ll be glad to hear! And thankfully she’s not telling us not to shop either.) It’s quite simple really: her mantra is “Buy fewer, better quality pieces and you can&#8217;t go wrong” – inspiring stuff and did we mention she looks amazing too?</p>
