Wouldn’t you though?

ice_cream_cushionsTiger is coming to Reading… hear me ROAR! If you haven’t heard of them yet, Tiger is Denmark’s answer to Ikea and is best described as the poshest, most stylish pound shop in the land where über cool and quirky Danish designs are sold in happy-go-lucky candy-coloured stores.

Store-interiors-clean-colorful-bright

You can buy everything from glitter glue to reading glasses; scented candles to felt fruit baskets – all in rainbow colours and at bargain basement prices – 80 per cent of its products sell for £5 or less.

BBQ oven glove, £2

Tiger currently has 80 stores across the UK, predominantly in the South-East (check out the store locator to see if you’re in luck). But for the good people of Berkshire, our time has come… to SHOP!

Ten coloured lights on a chain, £5

If (like me) you were schlepping over to Festival Place in Basingstoke to get your Tiger fix, you won’t have long before you can just pop into Reading – the store opens at 9am on Mon 9 May *squeal*!

ice_cream_bowls

It’s a scoop! Tiger’s shelves are full of ice cream – on pillows, sponges, clocks, games, pencil cases, bowls, spoons, decorations and toys from £1 to £5

And you will have to make the effort to get to a store because Tiger doesn’t sell online (sorreeee) but you can check out all their store products on the website.

Drawer tidy, £10; mug with danish text saying KAERLIGHED which means LOVE in English, awww, £2

So, do we think roaring success? Yep-a-doodle do!

Enjoyed a long browse in this very interesting shop today, needless to say did not come out empty handed. There are lots of quirky items ideal for small gifts, party bags etc. will definitely visit again when next in Reading.
