Kate Coker’s Pebble rings

Funky Reading interiors shop Epoch3 is all about supporting local talent. So when you pop along to the Caversham Road boutique, alongside the cool upcycled furniture, you’ll discover unique pieces of art and jewellery by local artists. Owners Russ and Tessa Turner pride themselves in handpicking everything that goes into the shop – making them a different proposition to anything else in Reading (and a little bit special).

Ring by Janet Richardson

Just to go and prove their ceaseless commitment to supporting local artists, Tessa’s hosting a Meet The Jeweller event at Epoch3 on Sunday 19 March, 11am-4pm. You can pop along, have sneaky peak, try on and find out about the jewellery straight from the designers mouth.

Pearls by Trudy Dredge

You’ll see works by South Oxfordshire-based jewellery designer Kate Coker, South Hill Park’s jeweller in residence, Janet Richardson and Wokingham artist Trudy Dredge. I’m told there’s prosecco, so if you were wavering (unlikely) the fizz will probably seal the deal.

Meet the Jeweller, Epoch3, 139 Caversham Rd, Reading RG1 8AU  epoch3.uk
