Win an £800 stay at the Lake!
We do try to push the boat out on prizes for you to win, but we’ve had we had one so delicious it was literally bobbing over the water. But check out this lakeside view!
Another Place, The Lake in Ullswater in the Lake District is the most ridiculously gorgeous, luxurious, stylish hotel we’ve seen in a very long time and we’ve nabbed a two night stay, worth nearly £800, for one lucky Muddy reader (and your plus one obvs).
The hotel, from the people behind the chic Watergate Bay in Cornwall, is brand spanking new for August 2017, so when you’re showing off to your friends about winning this bonkersly good prize, there’s absolutely zero chance any of them stealing your thunder by announcing they’ve already been there.
The 40-bedroom Georgian beauty is set in 18 acres, on the shores of the second largest lake in England, where you can you can go open-water swimming, sailing or stand-up paddle boarding. Or if that sounds a bit too healthy and wholesome, you can prop up the lovely bar, drinking gin (they specialise in different varieties of this mother’s ruin). And gimme some of that 20m swimming pool and hot tub with extraordinary vistas across the fells and valleys.
If you want to visit en masse there’s a range of family suites and cottages, while 10 of the rooms are also woof-friendly.
WHAT YOU GET
A two-night B&B stay for two people at Another Place, The Lake. The prize excludes school holidays and is subject to availability. The prize must be taken as awarded and cannot be exchanged. The prize must be taken before 31 July 2018.
