<p>After chills and thrills? The next two films from Blumhouse Television and Amazon Studios’ super-spooky collab land on Tues 13.&nbsp;<em>Evil Eye</em>, directed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas (yes, we were surprised too), focuses on mother Usha and daughter Pallavi, whose new boyfriend has a dark secret. Meanwhile,&nbsp;<em>Nocturne</em>&nbsp;stars Sydney Sweeney as an introverted pianist living in the shadow of her talented twin – but things change when she finds the notebook of a dead fellow student.</p>

<p>Our favourite comedy game show is back for its tenth season, this time with a new primetime slot at 9pm on Channel 4. This season’s line-up is stellar as ever; Daisy May Cooper, Johnny Vegas, Katherine Parkinson, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring battle it out to win the&nbsp;<em>Taskmaste</em>r trophy.</p>

<p>No need to change the channel after finishing&nbsp;<em>Taskmaster</em>, as this brand new documentary airs straight afterward at 10pm. As part of Black History Month, comic Mo Gilligan meets some of the most pioneering black stand-ups in Britain, and asks why people of colour rarely break through to the mainstream circuit. Eye-opening stuff.</p>

<p>For a super-sleek slice of escapism (filming locations include Venice, Saint Tropez and Argentina), try Sky original&nbsp;<em>Riviera</em>&nbsp;on for size. Julia Stiles returns as main character Georgina, who’s starting life anew after the explosive finale of season two. Joined by new guy Gabriel, played Rupert Graves, she travels the world in search of stolen art – and is quickly drawn into a political conspiracy.</p>

<p>A brand new Halloween flick for the kiddos,&nbsp;<em>A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting&nbsp;</em>sees Tamara Smart (who eagle-eyed watchers will know from&nbsp;<em>The Worst Witch</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Artemis Fowl</em>) face off against the Boogeyman (an unrecognisable and gloriously hammy Tom Felton) when he kidnaps the little boy she’s babysitting.</p>

<p>It was only a matter of time before someone made a TV show set entirely on Zoom, and this fictional eight-part series from the team behind&nbsp;<em>Orange Is the New Black</em>&nbsp;is Netflix’s take. Famous faces include Danielle Brooks (<em>Orange is the New Black)</em>, Mike Colter&nbsp;<em>(Luke Cage)</em>&nbsp;and Oscar Nunez (<em>The Office</em>).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">La Révolution, Season 1&nbsp;(Netflix, 16 October)</h2>

<p>And now for something completely different: how about a French-language sci-fi re-imagining of the French revolution? Set in 1787, the show follows Joseph Guillotin, future inventor of the guillotine, as he discovers a mysterious disease that’s causing the aristocracy to turn to mass murder.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Trial of the Chicago 7 (Netflix, 16 October)</h2>

<p>A star-studded line-up for this political drama centred on the so-called Chicago Seven, a group of anti-Vietnam war protesters charged with conspiracy after protests at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago turned violent. Big names include Joseph Gordon Levitt, Eddie Redmayne, Sacha Baron Cohen and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II – not to mention the director himself, Aaron Sorkin, who’ll you know from&nbsp;<em>The West Wing</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>The Social Network</em>.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Roadkill (BBC One, 18 October)</h2>
