<p>J.K.Rowlings other book series is proving quite the on-screen success (and there’s not a wand or wizard in sight). Tom Burke reprises his role as soldier turned private detective, Cormoran Strike, along with Holliday Grainger as his assistant, Robin Ellacott. This time round the pair are assigned a 40 year-old cold case involving a possible serial killer and the mysterious disappearance of a woman. Tensions are tested over this dramatic miniseries (and that’s just from Strike and Ellacott’s will-they-won’t-they relationship) let alone all the murder!</p>

<p>We’re loving Catherine Zeta-Jones’s recent resurgence, first as Morticia Addams in Netflix’s&nbsp;<em>Wednesday</em>&nbsp;and now as villainous treasure hunter, Billie Pearce, in a new Disney+ series. Harvey Keitel and&nbsp;<em>The Hangover’s</em>&nbsp;Justin Bartha join her in this continuation of Jerry Bruckheimer’s popular&nbsp;<em>National Treasure</em>&nbsp;film franchise. Fans of the movies can expect more of the same just sans Nicholas Cage (boo) – so that’s buried treasure, secret passageways, ancient maps, cryptic relics and a race against time to save the world – nevertheless a rip-roaring watch.</p>

<p>What do Pink Floyd, Cliff Richard, The Beatles, Oasis and Kate Bush have in common? They’ve all recorded some of their finest music at Abbey Road Studios. This new documentary is like a love letter to the famed studio, exploring its history and some of the icons that’ve graced the hallowed halls. Directed by Mary McCartney (yes, Macca’s daughter) who has a particularly emotional connection to the space, you’ll be surprised just how many songs from your record collection were recorded here – we certainly were!</p>

<p>A whole host of celebrity voices appear in this new animated film including Emilia Clarke, Hughs Laurie and Bonneville, Himesh Patel, David Tennant, Gemma Arterton and Rob Brydon among others. Based on the 28th novel of Sir Terry Pratchett’s legendary<em>&nbsp;Discworld</em>&nbsp;series of books,&nbsp;<em><strong>The Amazing Maurice</strong></em>&nbsp;(a riff off of&nbsp;<em>The Pied Piper of Hamlin</em>), sees the titular ginger cat come up with a money making scam with his team of talking rodents. We predict a new family favourite movie like the&nbsp;<em>Toy Stories, Happy Feets</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Encanto’s&nbsp;</em>that’ve graced your screens before it.</p>

<p>We’re so here for all the weird and wonderful roles that David Tennant takes on and his latest is no exception. In a new series coming to ITVX this week, Tennant plays Alexander Litvinenko, the former Russian spy who was poisoned in 2006. The drama uncovers the events leading up to and following his death in what became one of the biggest murder investigations in the world. Timely, yes. Dark, most definitely, but Tennant, as always, is a shining light.</p>

<p>Love a spy drama? Then new Netflix thriller from the director of&nbsp;<em>The Bourne Identity</em>, will be right up your street. Rookie lawyer Owen Hendricks (played by the rather dreamy Noah Centineo) expects a gentle intro to his new job at the CIA but of course crime has other plans! Before Owen can unpack his briefcase he finds himself in the throes of a dangerous, international conspiracy (crikey). A tad violent in places but the comedic elements help soften all the shooting.</p>

<p>Is it just us or do nature documentaries just keep getting better and better? Tom Hardy narrates Sky’s newest series,&nbsp;<em>Predators,</em>&nbsp;which covers way more than the peak-through-your-fingers hunts of some of the world’s deadliest mammals. With some insane visuals you’ll see just how these animals are having to evolve their habits due to climate change, from polar bears in Canada all the way to cheetahs in Tanzania. Though we would rather look at Hardy than listen to him – this series looks absolutely breath-taking.</p>

<p>Still reeling from the first three episodes? (Us too) Luckily we’ve got a few days grace to compose ourselves before the next volume of Harry and Megan’s documentary drops on Thursday. These three episodes focus on the couple’s exit from the UK and their royal duties and it’s these which look set to provide the juice for the tabloids. Agree or disagree with their version of events, you cannot help but get caught up in storm Harry and Megan.</p>

<p>After keeping us waiting 13 years, the second&nbsp;<em>Avatar</em>&nbsp;movie is finally coming to cinemas this week and we’re already preparing to brace the freezing climes to go and watch it (we’ll be blue too…) Among those actors going full blue are Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and Kate Winslet in her first collab with James Cameron since&nbsp;<em>Titanic</em>&nbsp;in ’97. The premise of this epic sees the Na’vi race having to protect the planet of Pandora once more from a very familiar threat. Settle yourselves comfortably (seriously though, the run time is over 3 hours) and prepare to be wowed by this cinematic marvel.</p>
