Warbrook House Hotel, Eversley
Muddy says: This Georgian mansion is located on the Hampshire/Berkshire border and offers relaxing luxury rooms and a brand new boutique spa on its 121 acres.
If you’re looking for a grand getaway then perhaps a Grade I listed mansion will fit the bill? Warbrook House Hotel, located in Eversley, dates back to 1724 and is surrounded by a whopping 121 acres of glorious Hampshire countryside.
With 74 bedrooms spread across The Mansion House, The Grange, and The Lodge, you can chill and unwind in your room before heading for something to eat.
Dining-wise you’ve got a couple of options. For a more casual evening of dining then check out The Atrium Bar with their bar menu of cocktails, pizza and light bites. For something slightly more formal, then enjoy the traditional decor of the Canal View Restaurant with its juxtaposed menu of modern dishes.
And if you fancy even more relaxation (yes, please!) then you need to check out the latest addition to the hotel, The Park Spa – a boutique space for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Here they have six large treatment rooms, (three of which are couples rooms and perfect for a romantic massage) using ESPA products, a mani and pedi lounge, sauna, steam room, gym and yoga studio. If all that pampering has exhausted you, head to the dreamy relaxation lounge. Once you drop into one of the faux fur beanbags, covered in a blanket, you’re going nowhere fast. Well, until you heard the cork pop in the gin and fizz lounge, that is. Balance a healthy lunch with something bubbly and delicious before collapsing on a cabana bed on the terrace.
