The Eye People, Wokingham
The very best in clinical eye care plus The Eye People in Wokingham are on the fashion pulse when it comes to designer spectacles and sunglasses
When was the last time you got your eyes tested? It creeps down the to-do list, and yet our sight is one of most precious senses. So what are you waiting for? As we’re spending a lot longer staring at screens, it’s even more important to get your eyes tested regularly. But not all opticians are equal. The big High Street names either lack the service or have a range of specs you wouldn’t want anywhere near your face.
Enter stage left, The Eye People in Wokingham. This boutique opticians has style, substance and service in spades. Owned and run by two besties Nimesh and Hardeep, they collaboratively have over 20 years’ experience in optometry. From the cool logo (a little The Kooples-esque) to their trendy bow ties, they apply the same fashion-forward eye to their, er, eyewear. They hand pick all the frames including some more contemporary brands – Prada, Gucci, Chloe, Boss, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford. It’s like a who’s who of Fashion Week here.
Nimesh and Hardeep both have genuine passion for their profession, striving to provide personal, premium eye care. To say they’re thorough is an understatement. The Eye People’s exam is three times longer than their high street rivals, they’re brilliant with kids who might think the equipment is an instrument of torture and offer great value for money. Every patient is treated as an individual which sounds obvious but weirdly isn’t. Whether you want lenses or specs, they’ll make sure you walk out happy, healthy and looking hot.
They are still open during lockdown, so if you’re well overdue a sight test, book in and while you’re there you can pick a sassy pair of designer sunnies too.
