Inspire Hot Yoga
Muddy says: Inspire Hot Yoga’s flexibility extends beyond their downward dogs, offering 29 classes for all ages and abilities, courses, workshops and retreats. Feel hot to look hot.
Inspire Hot Yoga is East Berkshire’s premier yoga studio offering 29 different Yoga classes a week including Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Hot Bikram (Hot 26), Fusion (yoga-pilates mix), Forrest Yoga, restorative yoga and Yin.
Run by Alan and Claire Stewart, Inspire opened in 2015 because the couple moved to the area, wanted to continue practicing hot yoga, but had to travel to do it. So ta-dah, hot yoga pops up in Maidenhead.
There’s something for everyone at Inspire Hot Yoga, regardless of age or ability. Along with regular classes throughout the day, Inspire holds amazing workshops with acclaimed Yoga teachers.
The studio is set to a toasty 40 degrees (there are cooler and hotter classes available), and the heat is provided by infrared panels rather than whacking up the thermostat. So what are the benefits? Obviously you sweat (a lot) but say bye bye toxins, hello glowing skin, you achieve a deeper and safer stretch into postures enabling you to improve flexibility and strength, calorie burning and boosts your concentration and focus.
In fact the benefits are so great, in 2016 Team GB’s women’s hockey team added hot yoga at Inspire into their training programmes in the build up to the Rio Olympics… and they went on to win gold. Just saying.
