Church House Berkshire
A party pad that’s cool, quirky and appeared on TV. Church House Berkshire is the answer to your prayers – a state-of-the-art glam home, packed with ecclesiastical features.
Been praying to the party gods for a pad that’s sexier than a hot priest? Hallelujah! We’ve only gone and found one in the village of Grazeley, nr Reading – and it even had a starring role in Made In Chelsea.
Church House Berkshire is a former Victorian church (clues in the name), that has said goodbye to its ecclesiastical past and taken on a new lease of life as a bright, spacious, contemporary holiday home/ venue – perfect for get-togethers, small wedding receptions, parties and corporate events.
It’s got stacks of original features – drink in the vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, pulpit and an ornate altar screen – that look stunning against the slick, modern interiors.
What can you expect? A crash pad that oozes luxury from every corner. It has been fitted with state-of-the-art Smart Home technology, so you can post pics and videos to Instagram in a jiffy. It also has a open plan lounge with wood burner, a cinema room, luxury beds with crisp white linen and designer bathrooms, plus a hot tub and a large garden.
You don’t even have to lift a finger during your stay. Owners Tim and Annie have a fantastic concierge team who can organise everything you desire from a grocery shop to catering staff. Fancy a pamper sesh with a beautician? No problem. Cocktails made by a mixologist? Tom Cruise is on his way. Yoga, archery or murder mystery? All available. I mean, you can even order a vodka luge. Church House Berkshire is also brilliantly located if you want to explore. There are lots of countryside walks, Ascot and Newbury races, Windsor Castle and Legoland are nearby and you can even whizz into London in under an hour.
In fact, I reckon once you’ve moved in, you’ll never want to leave. Church House Berkshire is unique, special and one of a kind.
