Bucklebury Farm Park
Muddy says: Muddy says: Sack the digital nanny and let the kids run wild. Bucklebury Farm Park is the perfect playground for your mini beasts to let off steam.
If you’re sacking the digital nanny in search of fresh air and fun, head to Bucklebury Farm Park. This Muddy award-winning family attraction is the place to go, particularly for younger children. Simply rock and let your kids left off steam.
The stunning 77-acre park is in the pretty village of Bucklebury, West Berkshire, in Ma and Pa Middleton’s hood. What can you expect? Well, clue’s in the name – animals. And there are plenty to feed, pet and gawp – donkeys, goats, ponies, cows, pigs, rabbits and alpacas, to name a few. The tractor deer safari is always a highlight and then there’s the indoor whizzy slides, bouncy pillow, go karts, zip wire, den building, woodland assault course and more.
Woody’s Cafe is great for a pitstop serving home cooked dishes for breakfast, lunch and tea. If you’re looking for a birthday party venue, ditch the soft play for here. My son had his party here and it was soooo good. Well looked after by the BFP team, the kids loved the freedom to go wild and it was relatively stress-free for the grown-ups .
I’m a big fan. And occasionally you’ll clock Prince George and Princess Charlotte doing what all the other mini beasts do – get dirty, eat loads and have fun. The kids really need their own pen.
