Bag £58, Strap £22
We love a shacket at Muddy, perfect for autumn days when it's not cold enough for a coat. & Other Stories' wool overshirt is a fash pack favourite. It comes in five shades but this one is the most practical of the lot and will hide any spillages.
If you like to keep your hands free for drinking wine and holding your phone, then Gift Pop's Squashy could be the one. It's roomy enough for all your essentials (purse, phone, keys and make-up touch ups), has a gorgeous tassel, gold hardware and looks great with the funky straps that you can buy separately for the ultimate personal statement.
Hell for pleather
Wipe clean and warm, a pair of pleather leggings will fast become your most-worn item this season. Max Mara's ankle-length slim-fit trousers look great with trainers and ankle boots. Sling on a big knit and you're good to go.
Put a ring on it
Nothing like rubies and diamonds to give your look a bit of polish. This stunning Seraphina ring from British made GFG Jewellery is available from Rococo Jewellery in Wokingham. This sparkler is handset with 0.05ct white diamonds and 0.34ct responsibly sourced Mozambique rubies. Pops it straight on my birthday wish list.
WE GOT FRILLS
Feminine and floral with all the seasonal shades represented in one print. This gorgeous blouse from B The Lifestyle Shop in Newbury (also online) is another wardrobe workhorse that'll look good dressed up or down.
RED RED WINE
Pinot noir really is a wine for all seasons. This wonderful single vineyard wine from Chilé is ripely fruited, with strawberry, cranberry, and black fruit compote, balanced by the freshness classic to Pinot noir. Part aged in new French oak, leading to spicy charred-wood notes, toasted nuts and wonderful texture, giving wine a cosy feeling, making it particularly well suited to cooler days. Finding decent pinot at this price is a bit of a ‘needle in the haystack’ but this is a beaut.
