<p>Coastal vibes incoming! Swerve Soho’s sticky pavements and dingy basements for something sunnier in the form of Milk Beach Soho, tucked between Greek Street and Manette Street (there are entrances at both). If you’ve previously brunched at the Queen’s Park outpost, you’ll be glad to hear many Aussie-inspired favourites are on the menu (koji marinated chicken ‘schnitty’, anyone?) alongside new BBQ and seafood delights including oysters and crab ravioli. Light-drenched, laidback and with a palm-peppered courtyard its as close as you’ll get to Sydney within the M25. Go for brunch and stay for sundowners.</p>

<p>If Mayfair is Mount Fuji (and for the purposes of this article, let’s say it is) then new modern Japanese restaurant Koyn is its pinnacle. A new jewel in Grosvenor Square’s crown, Koyn will open in what was once the US embassy and Canadian high Commission, so expect vast ceilings, decadent art and uber-fancy décor served up with your sashimi and saki. “kanpai!” or cheers to that.</p>

<p>Like your dumplings with a view? The latest foodie must-visit to take over the Centre Point Tower (in the year that celebrates the 60th anniversary of the building itself) is Din Tai Fung. Things you might expect: the steamed bao buns are to die for and the panoramic London views are epic. What you might not expect but you’ll get anyway? A separate bar area if swinging by for cocktails is more your thing (you can’t book so get in the queue early!), hot tea on every table, oh and robots deliver food to your table. Welcome to the future, foodies.</p>

<p>Covent Garden’s hottest new opening? It has to be the Royal Opera House’s restaurant on the fifth floor terrace – for the first time you won’t need a ticket to get a table (although with&nbsp;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.roh.org.uk/tickets-and-events" target="_blank">a line up this good</a>, why wouldn’t you?). There’s been a real zsush on the interiors front, but really you’re in it for the food, views and architectural splendour. Executive Chef Richard Robinson has the creds – previously at Tom’s Kitchen, The French Laundry, and Per Se) offering a seasonal menu that aims to stay on the stylish side of casual.</p>

<p>A brilliantly bohemian addition to one of Soho’s buzziest spots – on the corner of Brewer Street and Warwick Street (you’re welcome) – Nessa opens it’s antique oak doors very soon, where you can expect modern British bistro food in a mid-century setting. From the folk behind Duck and Waffle and Mortimer House, you can expect this new address to be pinned to all the coolest Uber accounts in town. Grab a shady spot under the awning to people-watch as you tuck in. See you there.</p>

<p>Inspired by the bars of Paris and Florence, the London institution that is St John’s (the Maltby Street restaurant opened in 2015) is coming to Marylebone in late-September and we’re so here for it. Expect the ultimate neighbourhood restaurant, whether brunching with friends or sipping wine with colleagues, there will be an undoubtedly welcoming vibe, uber-delicious sharing plates and a wine list that’s second to none. <p>Make like you’re taking a chic stroll along the Cannes coastline, albeit in London’s most exclusive neighbourhood, because Socca Bistro is coming to Mayfair bringing first class French-Mediterranean food and top-notch wine to your table. We could mention the fancy location – South Audley Street, smack bang in the middle of designer shopping heaven (Erdem for dessert, anyone?) or we could name-drop the Two-Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi (currently at Bibendum) and restaurateur Samyukta Nair (Jamavar). But really? It’s all about the food at this French fancy. You could wait for a special occasion, but we’re in too much of a hurry.</p>
