Ufton Court Weddings
Muddy says: Rustic and relaxed, Ufton Court is a unique venue to say ‘I do’ as your big day helps support an amazing cause.
Historic, relaxed and romantic, Ufton Court is a very special place to get hitched. This secluded bucolic wedding venue is set in 16 acres between Reading and Newbury.
Sweep down the oak-tree lined drive and discover the magnificent Grade-I listed manor with its grand fireplaces, and secret priest holes (a nod to its Catholic past), but it’s the 16th century tithe barn (registered for ceremonies) – a blank canvas of exposed beams and stone floors – that is ‘the one’.
This is the perfect country wedding venue with rustic touches and oodles of places for Pinterest-worthy pics, including a whimsical swing and sunken garden.
Before you get sticker shock, Ufton Court uses the money from weddings to improve the lives of disadvantaged kids through its educational trust. It means you need to be a bit flexible with your dates as weddings can only take place during weekends and the school holidays.
There’s also a team of brilliant wedding co-ordinators on hand to help you plan every detail.
