Boulters Restaurant and Bar
Muddy says: If you’re looking for total escapism, head to Boulters in Maidenhead and watch the watery world go by. Drink in the river view and enjoy pub classics or modern British food.
Boulters’ greatest asset is the river view. You could spend hours drinking and letting the stress of the day, week or month drain away (wine induced oblivion is a possibility), watching the boats and people pootling along.
The interior is contemporary, lots of glass to make the most of the location and when the sun shines the bi-folding doors are flung open and you could be in a grown up waterside eatery anywhere in Spain, France or Italy. But I guess that’s what the river’s all about – total escapism.
Dan Woodhouse, our Head Chef, uses the very best of seasonal local ingredients in his cooking. Dorp in and enjoy rustic pub classics in the Terrace Bar or Modern British cuisine in the brasserie – and we welcome children, offering a dedicated kids menu.
It’s also the perfect location for a party. If your wedding or special occasion is over 50 guests you will require private use of the Riverside Brasserie, and it can accommodate 100 guests for a seated function that includes a dance floor
