<p>The final season (sob) of&nbsp;<strong><em>Dead to Me</em></strong>&nbsp;lands on Netflix this Thursday wrapping up the accidentally murderous story of ride or die pals (literally) Jen, (Christina Applegate) and Judy, (Linda Cardellini). Series three of Liz Feldman’s award winning black comedy picks straight up from season twos climatic cliff-hanger which saw Jen and Judy involved in (another) hit and run while Steve’s body was discovered in the woods. The web of secrets, lies and deceit now runs so deep we literally have no idea how they’re going to get out of it all but we cannot wait to find out.</p>

<p>Religion and medicine collide in this gripping period drama starring Hollywood sweetheart, Florence Pugh. Set in 1862, nurse Liv Wright (Pugh) is sent to a remote Irish village to investigate and observe a young girl who hasn’t eaten for four months yet miraculously remains fit and well. Claiming she is sustained by “manna from heaven” Liv must determine whether the child is the “chosen one,” like many villagers suspect, or just acting.&nbsp;<strong><em>The Wonder</em></strong>&nbsp;throws up questions about faith, trickery and rationale which, we know, looks a bit dark but don’t worry (darlings) Pugh is the shining light here with yet another magnetic performance – brava.</p>

<p>Charles Dickens’s&nbsp;<em>A Christmas Carol</em>&nbsp;gets a screwball musical remix in this comedy which, sorry not sorry to all the actual Scrooges out there, we’re going to be watching from now until Christmas! Everyone’s favourite Elf, Will Ferrell, plays the Ghost of Christmas Present who chooses hard faced, marketing executive Clint (Ryan Reynolds) to spook (and sing) into changing the error of his ways. Not a fan of musicals?&nbsp;<strong><em>Spirited</em></strong>&nbsp;is still totally worth the watch for Reynolds and Ferrell’s hilarious verbal riffs in what we think will become a new Christmas classic.</p>

<p>We have all seen them, we have all probably been them, and Kristen Bell and Ben Platt play them in Prime Video’s new comedy –&nbsp;<strong><em>The People We Hate at the Wedding</em></strong>. Along with their mother, (the brilliant Allison Janney), dysfunctional siblings Alice and Paul (Bell and Platt) are invited to the British wedding of their estranged half-sister Eloise who wants the opportunity to reconnect. Cue an onslaught of drunken antics in London, fisticuffs and a night in a prison cell (is it even a proper wedding without all this drama anyway?!) this funny film will have you giggling all the way to the church and back. Cheesy but also quirky.</p>

<p>Jonah Hill gets real in this docu-movie about his relationship and experiences with his real life therapist Dr. Phil Stutz. The documentary centres around Hill’s own mental health battles with body image, anxiety and grief but also celebrates Stutz’s experimental visual form of therapy. Behind Stutz and Hill’s unique friendship, which is as touching as it is amusing, their candid discussions about mental health are timely, important and will hopefully help a lot of people after they watch this interesting film.</p>

<p>Jesse Eisenberg, Claire Danes, Lizzy Caplan, Adam Brody, Christian Slater and Josh Radnor assemble for a TV adaptation of the successful 2019 novel&nbsp;<strong><em>Fleishman is in Trouble</em></strong>. Fans of the novel rejoice as the author Taffy Brodesser-Akner wrote most of the episodes too which sees Danes and Eisenberg play the Fleishman’s that are in a fix. Newly divorced, Toby Fleishman (Eisenberg) begins to hit his stride in the world of app-based dating just as his ex-wife (Danes) disappears. In order to find her, Toby has to address what happened in their marriage which viewers see unravel through memories in almost like a reverse&nbsp;<em>Gone Girl</em>. A clever thriller full of twists and turns, Fleishman and its star studded cast is not to be missed.</p>

<p>When they hit mid-life, most men will buy a new car, take up a new hobby or get a toupee – not Chris Hemmy; he teams up with leading longevity experts to test the boundaries of morality in a bid to unlock the secrets to living a longer, happier, healthier life. He puts himself through some pretty gruelling challenges all in the name of eternal youth including climbing a 100ft long rope dangling above a canyon, cold therapy, fasting and drownproofing (which looks terrifying by the way). A lot of tasks are very much a case of rather him than us however no time is ever wasted watching Hemsworth and his God bod in action (swoon).</p>

<p>Once upon a time there was a wonderful movie called&nbsp;<em>Enchanted</em>&nbsp;that took the world by storm and left people wishing for a sequel – well come Friday that wish has finally been granted as&nbsp;<strong><em>Disenchanted&nbsp;</em></strong>sees many of the movies original cast return for another fun filled romp around Andalasia. Set 15 years later, both Giselle (the marvellous Amy Adams) and Robert (the gorgeous Patrick Demsey) are fed up with their humdrum suburban life so Giselle turns to magic to try and bring back their happily ever after, but of course things don’t go exactly to plan. Set to be another firm family favourite we are sure&nbsp;<em>Disenchanted</em>&nbsp;will be just as popular as it’s predecessor.</p>

<p>Stephen Knight brings a touch of the&nbsp;<em>Peaky Blinders</em>&nbsp;to this fantastic mini series which depicts the adrenaline-fuelled origins of the fearless, reckless SAS who dominated much of the mayhem of WWII. With a fantastic line up of leading lads including Dominic West as a cross dressing Colonel,&nbsp;<em>Sex Education’s</em>&nbsp;Connor Swindells, Alfie Allen from&nbsp;<em>Game of Thrones</em>&nbsp;fame and possible James Bond in the making Jack O’Connell among others,&nbsp;<strong><em>Rogue Heroes</em></strong>&nbsp;is a witty, thrilling (if at times a bit violent) amusing watch. If you’re late to the party on this one don’t’ worry, make an entrance and binge watch in one go as<strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong>this series is not to be missed.</p>
