London’s calling! The city’s best Spring exhibitions

19 Apr 2017

London’s museums and art galleries are the best in the world, in my opinion – and they’re one of the few things I miss about living in the city. However, it’s not exactly hard to jump on a train for a day of culture and this is the ideal time for a jaunt, just as museums open their major Spring exhibitions. (Brucey bonus – most London museum gift shops are absolutely brilliant these days – perfect for unusual gifts and stylish interiors bits).

Writers block? It’s a curse I tell you, but rarely do we struggle to find the words here on Muddy particularly after a couple of wines.

Half term is looming large, so in the interest of keeping our sanity, here’s my bumper Muddy guide to the coolest activities, day trips and top notch theatre to keep your kids entertained and save you from tearing your hair out. Sir Elton John is not known for his understated taste. Remember how he arrived at his 50th birthday in a van to accommodate a giant wig topped with a galleon and his 15-foot feather train?
